YUCK! Just moved here and was looking for a grocery store with high-quality meats, produce and deli. This is NOT that store. Purchased several items - the very worst being spinach - I threw away 75% of it - it was gross! They have high prices (which I'm willing to pay) with low quality. Cub Foods is better! Hoping to find something in this town...
Every time I go into this location I find rotten, moldy fruits and vegetables. It seems like when things are on sale it’s because they’re close to expiring. I wish management did a better job at clearing out expired foods. Now I drive the extra 2 miles to Festival, prices are the same or lower and much better quality products.
The quality of produce has dropped MASSIVELY over the past year. Red grapes, lettuce and others were rotted right in the display three weeks ago, and my hubby just bought these red potatoes TODAY. If I were you, I’d not waste my time here and go to Festive Foods a couple miles down the road. Or just go to a big box store like Walmart or Target.
I’m actually angry that we spent money on this, and if you look at my past reviews on places, I don’t normally get angry about these things.
went to get groceries for my mom, she was up here for treatment at mayo. couldnt use her ebt card to get a few things while she was here since it was from Iowa. had to travel to a different store. I normally really like this store but was not happy when this happen. the store clerk said they were working on it but she was able to use it last fall when she was up here for her chemo/ radiation treatments. when I told her that she responded as if i was lying. she said, " that can't be right cause they never excepted it" . well sorry but she used it. she was her for 4 months and this grocery store is the closest to my home.
I love shopping here. “Everyday prices” are probably a bit high, but I regularly find deals on meat that put other grocery stores to shame (I’m talking to you cub foods) so I will continue to make this my first stop, especially when I’m looking to stock up the freezer with sausage, grd beef, ribs, chops, roast, etc.
Nice and clean store! Even my mother in law was impressed. The man behind the deli counter was nice and right on cue when we needed him. Because I was on crutches another lady associate was kind enough to go to the other side of the store to retrieve a veg lasagna I needed. And great produce as well. Thank you to those workers!
Absolutely love this store the deli staff are super sweet and I love that they have more Dairy free options for things like whip cream, I can't ever find it at other stores I wish they had bigger things of dairy free yogurt but otherwise my new favorite grocery store
